Anchoring Your Love Story In Film

"If it can be written, thought, or felt, it can be filmed."

thoughtful & timeless New England cinematography to capture your life's greatest love story

Your connection is effortless. You go above and beyond to make each other feel loved, and your favorite memories are wrapped in laughter. You care about the little things: inside jokes, spontaneous adventures, and moments that just feel like you. You’re all about unique experiences and sharing them with your favorite people. Family means everything, and your friends? They’re basically family too.—your wedding wouldn’t be complete without them. But let’s be honest, your eyes will be locked on each other all day.

You believe love stories are the most important ones told in life, and your wedding is the most beautiful celebration of yours.

Choosing Tyler to be the videographer for our wedding was one of the greatest decisions I ever made!...He brought the best energy on the day of our wedding, [making] me feel calm but was also a friend to my husband and I throughout the entire day.

The video he created of our wedding day was just a dream come true. It was perfect...Every time I watch it I feel like I am transported right back to that day,
and that feeling is priceless.

Hey, I’m Tyler — the heart behind Whitecap Weddings.

I’ve always been drawn to stories—the real, messy, beautiful kind. The kind that play out in small glances, quiet laughs, and that split second when two people realize, “This is it.” That’s what I live to capture. Honestly, I’ve been a romantic at heart ever since I first watched The Notebook growing up—something about that story stuck with me, and I think it still influences how I see love today.

My background in the Army National Guard shaped a huge part of who I am. The most important quality I’ve learned through my service is the idea of servant leadership—leading with purpose, but always putting others first. That’s exactly how I approach filmmaking: I see myself as a leader in the craft, but a servant to my couples. I listen intently, ask thoughtful questions, and make sure I truly understand your values and vision—before we even talk about booking. Because to me, this is more than a film—it’s a reflection of you.

When I started Whitecap Weddings, I wanted to create more than a videography service. I wanted to build something grounded in authenticity, intention, and connection. My job isn’t to direct your day—it’s to document it with precision and care, so you can relive the feelings for years to come. Whitecap Weddings is designed to reflect genuine connection, thoughtful storytelling, and helping people feel completely at ease in front of the camera. When I’m not filming love stories, you’ll probably find me out sailing, rollerblading by the coast, or playing music. I’m also a bit of a hands-on guy—I love fixing things, building stuff, and always seem to have a project going. I’m a classic introverted extrovert: I thrive in social settings but really value quiet time to myself as well.

Whitecap Weddings isn’t about stiff poses or cookie-cutter edits. It’s about capturing your day in a way that feels real, true, and beautiful. My style is cinematic but grounded, creative but never forced. I’m here to support you, serve your story, and deliver a film that feels like you. Let’s make something beautiful together.
